My working experience

I have been working in Top Shop since December of 2008 till May of 2009. Its not a long period but it do gives me a lot of knowledge and experience. The pay offer was pretty good and satisfy, company do pay you OT and triple paid for public holiday. Thus, overall each month I will be paying around RM1700++.

As a sales coordinator, the customer service is the most important part that we should take note. For us, customers are always the right one and we must respect them just to show the best service and manners. Besides this, we will have a briefing section before we start working daily. During this briefing section, everyone will giving a chance and opportunity to read previous day sales and our monthly target. Neither increase nor decrease, we will try our best to hit the monthly target. At least 70% of the target, or else commission will bar from that month. It's pretty risky anyway, sometimes sales cant really control by us but the economic and seasons. Its for sure that during any mega sales or specific period such as Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Christmas and etc, it will be always gain us high sales.

Next, we will also giving the latest trend information in UK. ( Top Shop is actually a UK brand ) Style advisor will always pay the most attention on the way we style during work. Company do provide us "uniform", and this uniform actually was the selling products in Top Shop. Thus, we can choose any clothes there as our uniform with condition of below the specific budget. For full-timer, clothes are below RM139 and for part-timer is below RM69. Thus, style advisor will always gave us the latest fashion trend info and also to prove that - Top Shop staff are always fashionable, customer will only take attention on Top Shop. Way of pushing sales and it do benefits us.. not bad right??

Last but not least, the working environment there is pretty good. They do provide us a staff pantry as our resting place. Each staff will be given a own locker just to keep our valuable and personal stuff. I do gained a good relationship with my colleagues, they are really nice actually!! We do have karaoke or movie section after working time. It seems like we're not actually colleagues but also friends that can share our happiness and sadness.

Thanks to Top Shop !! I do learn a valuable experience and knowledge that money actually can't pay for it.

Meet Your Meat

Turkeys and hens
- feed drugs just to fatten them faster. Their legs will injured because they can't support with overweight body.
- they live in a dark cramped area, can't even move in a such place. Because of this, some of them died because of dehydration. Competition against each an other.
- male chicks are been killed because they are unable to lay eggs.
- chicks beak have been chopped, just to ensure they won't hurt each other in a cramped area.

Cattle and cow
- Cows' horn are cut off at the base, often causing extreme pain. Their "voice" can be heard in this video.
- Cattle are also pumped full of drugs just to make them grow faster and keep them alive in these miserable conditions.
- Mother Cows just to provide fresh milk daily. They are hooked up to milk machines often tears their udders and it's extremely pain.
-Cattle are force to walk along pathway by hurting them with electric rod.

Pigs
- Piglets' tails are cut off and their teeth are pulled out without the use of painkillers.
- They live in cramped, under constant stress area.
- many die of heat exhaustion in the summer and arrive frozen to the inside of the truck in the winter.


After watching this video, my next action ...
Actually before watching this video, me already consider a half vegetarian person. What do I mean by half vegetarian?? I only eat meats in relevant dinners or special events such as wedding dinner, birthday party and so on. Me usually choose vegetables, beans or fruits as my main dishes.

Humans are cruelty to animals. Just to "use" them as 1 of our dishes, they can really take any cruelty actions to these animals just to benefits themselves, earning profits by selling it to human beings.

Humans, are the most cruelest animal !!!

People, whenever you are having your fabulous "delicious" meat dinner, please refresh back what you have watch through this video. Save the animals, we must start decrease eating meats now. Choose vegetables and fruits as your main dishes to maintain your health.

Without Pressure, Life Would Be Dull

Everyone can't live without pressure!!!

I totally agree with that. Why?? Just imagine, if you are living in a pressure-free life, you will just feel bored. Your life will be just like a car driving on the highway, straight and save. You don't even need to put your legs on the clutch, what you need to do is just make sure you maintain the speed, focus on the direction that you want to go, that's it!! It's just simple and easy. However, don't forget your life will not be just few hours on the road but in many years!! If your life is just simple as it, it's for sure that one day you will feel bored living in this world.

Moreover, pressures do help you gain "experience" and "knowledge". Whenever you are facing problems, pressure comes along with it. You will get a lot of experience by solving problems, same goes to solving "pressure". Pressure comes along to every stages of people : students, workers and even a child, they do have their own pressure. For students, they will face a lot of pressure for their studies, assignments, coursework, exams.. These are the common example that every student face. They need to squeeze their mind to solve the problems, they need competition to compete their results, its either being a "winner" or a "loser". During this pathway, pressure comes along and thus, their life would not be dull and they would not feel bored because of that.

Same goes to a worker during adult stage. Competition comes along with pressure, they need to put a lot of hard work just to being a "winner". Rushing projects, thinking of new ideas, everything is PRESSURE.

"Pressure", something that made us tiring but it's meaningful. Our life would not be dull and rusty because of PRESSURE.

Thus, humans must live with pressure !!!
